I work with adults and teens on trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I specialize in working with adults who had to parent themselves as kids and those who haven’t quite figured out how to separate their self worth from their resume.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
I utilize a psychoanalytic and solutions focused approach to meet my clients where they find themselves in the complexities of life. Our past experiences have shaped how we see and respond to the world around us. Sometimes we need a bit of assistance to change our perspective and to replace coping mechanisms that are no longer working for us.
I’m here to provide a safe, affirming space for you to develop an understanding of yourself to overcome past experiences or fears that define you. Our work together will be met with unconditional acceptance, a few tears, some humor, and the utmost compassion.
I have Master’s Degrees in Social Welfare and Public Policy from UCLA.
I have a background in nonprofit management, tech, and entrepreneurship. I am passionately involved in social justice and civic engagement, and feel that the best place to start to make change is with ourselves.
I am an atheist, former foster youth, and lover of the great outdoors. In my free time I’m usually reading or spending time with one of my many fur babies.
